A virtual reality training module for occupational first aid

SST VR is an innovative tool designed for first aid trainers. It replaces traditional paper-based case studies or time-consuming staged scenarios with immersive virtual reality experiences.

For 4 to 5 minutes, your trainee is sensitized then immersed in an interactive 360° accident scenario. It features real people for greater realism and empathy-driven awareness. The action takes place just meters away from the learners, creating an immediate sense of presence.

During a first aid training session, you can directly assess your trainees' analytical skills and decision-making abilities, giving them every chance to provide better assistance in the event of an accident. They learn to better manage their emotions by practicing making the right decisions in a realistic immersive simulation.

Our VR first aid case studies integrate seamlessly into the 14 hours of an initial first aid course or the 7 hours of a refresher course. You complete a case study compliant with the INRS curriculum in just 4 to 5 minutes.

Listening, involvement and retention for every learner is dramatically increased. Trainees realize within seconds that an accident can happen at any moment and that victims will be counting on them. 15 scenarios allow each learner to experience a unique situation shared with the rest of the group on screen or projector.

How it works

Training in 4 simple steps

Scenario selection
1

Scenario selection

The trainer selects the case study suited to the pedagogical progression from the control interface. 15 available scenarios covering all situations in the occupational first aid curriculum.

Immersion
2

Immersion

The learner puts on the VR headset and is immersed in a realistic work environment. They discover the accident scene and must analyze the situation.

Interactive responses
3

Interactive responses

The learner interacts with the environment and the victim: they protect, alert, examine and provide first aid following the occupational first aider's procedure.

Debriefing
4

Debriefing

The trainer debriefs the session with the entire group. The automatically generated report details the actions taken, mistakes made and areas for improvement.
